"VILNIUS TECH Joint Science Laboratory Center hosts public presentation of cutting-edge research"

Vilnius Gediminas University of Technology's Joint Science Laboratory Center, VILNIUS TECH, held a public presentation of its cutting-edge laboratories and scientific research on March 8th, 2023. The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Jurgita Šiugždinienė, the Minister of Education, Science and Sports, Marius Skuodis, the Minister of Communications, Simonas Gentvilas, the Minister of the Environment, and Algirdas Butkevičius, a Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania. Other public figures, business representatives, and members of the VILNIUS TECH community were also in attendance.

The visitors were treated to a unique experience as they explored the modern laboratory spaces and learned about the ongoing research projects. The Logistics Process Simulation Laboratory was a highlight of the event, showcasing its research on optimizing and synchronizing transport flows carried out in the ePIcenter project.

During the presentation, researcher Raimondas Šakalys presented the laboratory's findings, which generated a significant interest from both the public and political representatives. The attendees were highly engaged and asked several questions, leading to a lively discussion.
