We are pleased to invite you to the online knowledge sharing and networking session: ‘What support does the Arctic and sub-Arctic maritime industry need for a sustainable future?’, which is the final event of the Scottish Government funded project ‘Navigating the Future: Collaborative Knowledge-Sharing for a Just and Sustainable Maritime Future’.
Linkedin Arctic working session

What will the session be about? We will share key lessons learned and knowledge gained from our series of interviews conducted with the maritime industry in winter 2023, as part of the Navigating the Future project. We will share lessons learned, best practices and the shared challenges identified, focusing on three themes;

  • Greener practices
  • Community connections
  • an Arctic context

Throughout the session, there will be opportunities for you to network with your fellow maritime colleagues, share your thoughts and experiences, whilst hearing about best practices and similar challenges faced by others in the field. We will close the session with a short overview of the environmental certification scheme Green Marine, from Green Marine President David Bolduc.
